Services for Mrs. Florence Douglas Pendergrass, 82, of Clarksburg, were at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at CLarksburg Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Carver officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Dilday Funeral Home of Huntingdon in charge. Ms. Pendergrass, wife of Jessie L. Pendergrass, died Friday afternoon, May 31, at her home after a long illness. She was a native of Carroll County and a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she leaves four daughters, Mrs. Brooksie McDaniel and Mrs. Neta Lovell both of Yuma, Mrs. Willie Scott of HUntingdon and Mrs. Joyce Altom of Clarksburg; two sons, Adrian Pendergrass of Yuma and Cecil Pendergrass of Memphis; five sisters, Mrs. Donnie KIrby of Huntingdon, Mrs. Nancy Scott of Clarksburg, Mrs. Ollie Breeden of Yuma, Mrs. Odell Moore of Atwood, and Mrs. Opal Gately of Cedar Grove; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
