Mrs. Grace B. Landis Church Worker, Dies
Mrs. Grace B. Landis, 74, a resident of Saginaw 35 years, died Sunday at her home, 208 Jefferson apartments.
Grace Black was born May 10, 1863 in South Bend, Ind., a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Asbury Black. When she was still a child the family moved to Hastings. She was the last member of a family of 12 children. June 24, 1886 she was married to Edward A. Clark, who died a few years later and on Nov. 15, 1894, she was married to George W. Landis. He died several years ago. She was a member of the Ames Church, Jefferson Avenue M.E. Ladies Aid society, order of Eastern Star and Daughters of the American Revolution.
She leaves a daughter and a son, Mrs. Harry L. Wilson of Saginaw and Harold Clark of Dearborn; two grandchildren, Mrs. Alfred E. Doty of Bristol, Pa., and Harry L. Wilson, Jr. of Saginaw.
The funeral will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Case chapel, Rev. George H. Curtis will officiate and burial will be in Hastings.
