Mrs. Gladys M. Young
ANNA -- Mrs. Gladys M. Young, 69, 15655 State route 119, R. R. 1, was dead on arrival at Wilson Memorial Hospital yesterday at 7:40 p.m. She was transported to the hospital by Anna Rescue Squadsmen. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack.
She was born Feb. 26, 1907 in Sidney, daughter of Augustus and Cora Dell (Stiles) Woodruff. Oct Oct. 24, 1919, she was married to Karl W. Young.
He survives with three children, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Maxwell, Port Jefferson, Richard J., 207 E. North St., Anna, and Paul E. young, 628 Fair road, Sidney; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a brother, Clifford, Middletown and a sister, Mrs. Lucille Voress, Sidney. A daughter and two brothers are deceased
Mrs. Young was a member of the Anna United Methodist Church. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Salm & Wiley Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Pearl Cemetery, Swanders. --
