Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Woodward Ave. First Church of God for Preston C. Aiken, who died last Monday morning in his North Grant Ave. home. Rev. Charles E. Strater, the church pastor, officiated. As burial was made in Kittanning cemetery, the casket bearers were Charles Montgomery, Glenn Hooks, Byron Powell, Frank Thornhill, Charles Roofner and Barney Hepburn.

Preston C. Aiken, aged 72 years, of 921 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, Armstrong County , Pennsylvania, who died on Monday, January 31, 1955 at 7:00 a.m. at his. Mr. Aiken was born October the 7th, 1882 in Girty, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, the son of George and Ms. (Klingensmith) Aiken. Funeral arrangements were in the care of undertaker John W. Rhodes of Kittanning, Pennsylvania. Interment was made on Wednesday, February 2, 1955 in the Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, Pennsylvania. Information was provided by Mrs. Paul Lemmon.
