The home had once been the Halloran Funeral Home, later turned into duplex type home.

The Snedeker family'claim their time in the home was a nightmare, intense paranormal activity in the home. Their time in the house was was made into a book, and also into a documentary for the Discovery Channel, called "The Haunting in Connecticut". On September 19, 2012 the Snedeker story was depicted in an episode of SyFy's paranormal show "Paranormal Witness", which depicts true stories of people and their experience with the paranormal. A movie by the same title was released in 2010, the film was mostly made up by Hollywood and is very loosely based on the true story.

Sadly Phil's cancer returned and sadly he did not survive.
