Mr. Burtnett was employed by Mid-Atlantic Cannery as a machine operator. He had worked for United Technologies and worked at the old Putnam Laundromat.
Harold was born July 17, 1932, in McConnelsville, to the late Frank and Florence Burtnett.
He is survived by his wife, Georgiana (Jewell) Burtnett, whom he married May 25, 1968. He is also survived by his three daughters, Trina Burtnett, Mary Smith and Carolyn Gossett; seven sons, Harold Jr. and Sharie Burtnett, David Burtnett and fiancee Shirley, George and JoAnn Burtnett, Jimmy and Debbie Burtnett, Larry Burtnett and Gene and Vicki Burtnett and Kenneth Michael Burtnett; three sisters, Alice Marie Hamilton, Geneive Pearson and Kathy Barr; three brothers, George Burtnett, Robert Burtnett and Max Burtnett; grandchildren, Cassandra Burtnett and Tommy and Brandi Dennis; and several other grand and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Tommy Burtnett, who passed away June 26,1991, and Dwaine Burtnett; and a sister, Betty Elson.
