Gwendolyn Blakely, 86, died Sunday at Meadow Lawn Care Center, Davenport.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday at Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Robert Ahlstrom will officiate. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fairbanks-Lamb Chapel.
Gwendolyn Blakely was born March 21, 1892 in Troy, KS, the daughter of George and Anna Houx Gunter.
Her marriage to Joseph F. Blakely took place Dec.5, 1910 in Troy, KS.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Josephine) Westrate of Davenport; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Lillie Mae Grace of Ottumwa.
Her husband preceded her in death.
