Jack Anthony Aiello

Jack Aiello, age 83, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2006. He was a native and longtime resident of Pittsburg and resided in Rio Vista, CA for the past nine years. Jack was a commercial fisherman for 60 years, fishing in Alaska, Washington and California. Jack also worked as a carpenter for many years. He was a member of A.I.F.M.A., Puget Sound Gill Netters Association, Carpenters Union Local #152, Martinez, Pittsburg Elks Lodge #1474, Rio Vista, Moose Lodge and St. Joseph's Church, Rio Vista. He was a former St. Peter Martyr Church Member. He enjoyed sports. Jack is survived by his daughters, Olga Edwards and husband Mark, MaryAnn Keeling and husband Richard; son, Salvatore Aiello and wife Lauri; brother, Vince Aiello; sister, Angie Sorci; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Aiello; and two brothers, Neno and Ratzi Aiello.

Visitation begins Monday, January 16, 2006, at 3:00pm with a rosary at 4:00pm at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Mass Tuesday, January 17, 2006, at 10:00am at Church of the Good Shepherd.
