Mrs. Hilbus was born in Kansas City, MO. She had been employed by the Commerce Bank as a data processor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in 1988 and a son, Tommy in 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Hilbus, Kansas City, MO; son, Ralph Hilbus, Raytown, MO; brothers, Jack Root, Artie Wren, Russell Wren and Benny Baylor; sister, Jenny Bilyeu; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
