Mrs. Van Velde Succumbs at 88
Mrs. Charlotte M. Van Velde, 88, formerly of Hunt Drive, Fayetteville, died yesterday at a local nursing home. Born in Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Van Velde was employed as a practical nurse for many years, retiring 15 years ago. Surviving are three sons, Russell and Clifford, both of Syracuse, and Alton of Geneva; four granddaughters; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Eaton-Tubbs Funeral Home, 130 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville, the Rev. Roland Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Fayetteville Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
