Ronald William "Lum" Labrum, 71, of Shelley, died July 11, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center following a heart attack. He was born January 29, 1933, in Idaho Falls, to William Billman Labrum and Hilma Edith Johnson. He attended Riverside School and graduated from Ammon High School. He served in the military during the Korean Conflict. He married Ruth Walker and their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. She preceded him in death. He married Zelpha Arlene Miller November 7, 1971, in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple March 20, 2000. He worked as a laborer and foreman at Pillsbury for over 30 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and dancing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Buddy Dennis and Virgil Labrum, half brother Orville Duncan, and sister Vivian Rigoulot. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 15, 2004, at Shelley Mountain View Ward, 675 So. Milton, with Bishop Shawn Leckington officiating. Burial was in Ucon Cemetery directed by Wood Funeral Home. Military rites were performed by Bonneville County Veterans Team.
