Mrs. Katherine M. Lee, 84, died Sunday in St. John's Lutheran Home. She was the mother of Mrs. Tim Babcock of Helena.
Mrs. Lee was born Oct. 31, 1892, in Glendive, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Martin. She graduated from high school in Glendive and at St. Mary's College in Minneapolis.
She married Richard Elwood Lee on March 15, 1913, in Glendive. They ranched on Burns Creek, north of Intake. Her husband founded a trucking firm and they lived in Miles City. Her husband died in 1949. She moved to Billings in 1955.
Mrs. Lee had been a Sunday School teacher at Glendive Congregational Church and was a 50-year member of Order of Eastern Star in Glendive.
Survivors include her daughter, two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
