Rose Marie Frerichs of Columbus died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at her home.
Rose Marie was born on December 20, 1936 to Herman and Annastacia (Micek) Blahak at St Mary's Hospital in Columbus, NE. She attended St. Bonaventure Grade School and graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1956.
Rose worked many places through her life, including Billy's Cafe, Columbus Theater, Platte County Treasurer's Office, BD's, Region IV, Platte College, Behlens, and Wal-Mart, just to name a few.
Rose married Harry Frerichs on November 28, 1959 in Columbus where they lived until Harry's death in 1996. To this union 4 children were born, Kent, Kristen, Carl, and Gard.
Rose loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a green thumb, was a collector of sorts, she was a people person, and had a deep love for all animals. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church.
Rose touched many lives through the years and will be deeply missed by all.
