He was born in Lewis, Mohave, Arizonia to Dudley Leavitt(1830-1908) and Mary Huntsman(1836-1932). He was the youngest child of 11 children. They were raised in Arizona and Lincoln now Clark County, Nevada in Bunkerville and Mesquite. He married Penelope Burgess(1884-1965) 8th of May 1901 in St George,Washington,Utah. They had 5 children, 2 girls and 3 boys. One of their girls Pearl Leavitt(1905-1955) md one of my other great uncles on the other side of the family, Don Eldon Emett(1906-1991) She died of Cancer in 1955. Daniel died 21 Jun 1958 in Central,Washington, Utah. Penelope died the 23 May 1965 in Central also.
