He was born June 6, 1960, in Harrisonburg, and is a son of Walstene A. Bazzle of Broadway and the late Goldie Alice Shifflett Bazzle.
He worked as a maintenance technician for Cargill in Timberville. He was a member of Fairview Church of the Brethren near Endless Caverns, where he served as a trustee on the church board. A member of the Harley Motorcycle Club, he loved riding his bike. He was a loving and caring husband, father, son, grandfather, and friend having touched many lives throughout his life.
On Dec. 18, 2004, he married the former Mary Hottinger, who survives.
Including his father, he is also survived by a son, Jeremy W. Bazzle of Harrisonburg; a daughter, Stefanie Bazzle of Culpeper and Quincy A. Brock; a stepdaughter, Chasity McCray and husband, Michael, of Timberville; a stepson, Christopher A. Showman of Timberville and Amanda Kline; a sister, Lysa Lohr and husband, Darin, of Broadway; two grandchildren, Leah Cargill, Tiana Brock; and four stepgrandchildren, Breanna McCray, Amya McCray, Ashley McCray, and Alyse Brock.
The Revs. Lewis Armentrout and Archie Webster will conduct a funeral service Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Fairview Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
