Elsie L. Mummert, 68, of West York, died at 7:34 p.m. Thursday at York Hospital.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday at the Wm. J. Workinger Funeral Home Inc., 849 E. Market St., York. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. There will be no viewing.
Mrs. Mummert was born May 30, 1925 in Ashley, N.D. She was the daughter of the late George and Magdalina ( Quashnick ) Doubler.
She was a bookkeeper at the R.D. Heller Plumbing and Heating Co. for 10 years prior to retirement.
Mrs. Mummert is survived by a daughter, Sharon A. Hoffman of Seven Valleys RD 2; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Hulda Rott of Fargo, N.D., Alma Ulmer and Elenora Ulmer, both of Ellendale, N.D.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Robert B. Harnish, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church.____________________________________________
