Mrs Flora M Brown, wife of Congressman William G Brown, of Kingwood, W Va, died at the home of her husband last Sunday morning from the effects of tuberculosis. Mrs Brown was a graduate of the Fairmont Normal School and had a wide circle of friends in this state as well as in Washington among whom she was a general favorite.
Mr Brown had a number of invitations to speak at out-of-town gatherings last week and the health of his wife had so far improved that he was absent when a change came and he was immediately called home where he found her conscious but near the other shore, living but a few hours after his arrival.
