Alicia Henry was a freshman at West Virginia University and 2003 graduate of James Wood High School in Winchester, Virginia, where she played on the soccer team for two years, was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America, and was captain of the band’s color guard. She died when the 1995 Chevrolet Tracker she was riding in went down an embankment and overturned along W.Va. 29. She had been returning home for the weekend with her brother and friend, who were not seriously injured in the accident. She was 18 years old.
