LANCELLOTTI, RICHARD RIC - 59, formerly of Syracuse NY, passed away February 18 in Sarasota County, Florida, of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born in Syracuse, he was a graduate of Henninger High School. He was a resident of Sarasota for over 30 years.
He was a music, sports, and European car enthusiast.
Ric was an excellent bowler, with many perfect games to his record. He was
a high-average player, primarily at Sarasota Lanes, for many years, who carried averages as high as the 220s.
He was a national title holder professional race car driver.
He was proprietor of Playground South in Jacksonville, Florida and Donovan's Reef in Siesta Key, FL. He was owner of Distinctive Motor Cars in Sarasota, Florida for the past 16 years.
Ric is preceded in death by his parents, Hope (Miguel) and Guido Lancellotti.
Funeral services were conducted at Farone and Son Funeral Home in Syracuse and Mass of Christian Burial at St. Daniel's Church in Syracuse NY.
