NELSON, GARY BOYD - age 50 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2012. He was a member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Barbara Nelson; his grandparents, William and Frances Nelson, and Matthew and Bertha Kraulis. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Watson Nelson; son, Dustin and wife, Ashley James; and daughter, Megan James; three grandchildren, Briana and Bryson James and Elijah Phillips; his brother, Bill and wife, Vicki Nelson; sister, Mary and husband, Jimmy Everett; father and mother-in-law, Jean and Earl Watson; brother-in-law, Mike and wife, Janet Watson; sister-in-law, Mitzi and husband, Bill Owens; sister-in-law, Marla and husband, Tony Holland; nephews, Nathan, Cory, Sawyer, Benji, Nick, Michael, Aaron, Matthew, Trey and Owen; nieces, Elise, Shelly, Holly, April, Gracie A., Whitney, Tiffany, Erika, Kaitlyn, Jeana and Gracie W.; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Donnie, Chris, Gary R., Doug, Brian and Jo and Gary T. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, Friday, February 24, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. A service will follow at 8:00 p.m., with Rev. Jerry Crye officiating.
