He made his film debut playing the role of 'Guard' but was uncredited in the fantasy romance drama film, "Peter Ibbetson" (1935). He played the role of 'F.W. Dyker' in the mystery romance film, "Lady In Scarlet" (1935), and 'Joseph "Joe" Ross' in the crime drama film, "The Drag-Net" (1936). His many other film credits include, "Florida Special" (1936), "The Bride Walks Out" (1936), "Lady Be Careful" (1936), "The Big Game" (1936), "After The Thin Man" (1936), "They Wanted To Marry" (1937), "We're On The Jury" (1937), "Kid Galahad" (1937), "The Lady Escapes" (1937), "Hideaway" (1937), "52nd Street" (1937), "Manhattan Merry-Go-Round" (1937), and his last film, "Strange Cargo" (1940) He continued to act until his death. He was married to Marguerite Adair but the couple had no children.
