Last rites held Wednesday for Henry Fancher (1949). Funeral services for Henry Fancher, well-known stockman of Madison and Newton Counties, were held Wednesday, March 16, at 2:00 P.M. at the Liberty Church near Kingston, conducted by Rev. Lively. Interment was in the Liberty Cemetery. Mr. Fancher had been in failing health for sometime, but had only been bedfast a few days, when his death occurred about 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 14. He was born and had lived near Kingston all his life. Married to Verna Eugenia "Genie" Bunch on 14 Jun 1914 at Dinsmore, Newton, Arkansas. Besides his widow, he is survived by one son, Bert Fancher of the home, two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Whiteley, of Metalton, and Miss Vernell Fancher of the home. Three brothers, Grover of Loy, Lee of Connor, and Sam of Kingston, three sisters, Mrs. Jim Stevenson of Pryor, Oklahoma, Mrs. Addis Pharis of Weathers, and Miss Kate Fancher of Kingston; and a host of other relatives, and friends.
