Roger, 76 of Laingsburg passed away Monday, at his home.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Graham Community Church with Pastor John Schlaack officiating.

Roger was the son of Donald and Elsie (McJames)Sickles. He graduated from Laingsburg High School, the Class of 1953. On July 26, 1958 he married Shirley Pierce in Laingsburg.

Roger served in the U.S, Army as a member of the Military Police. He was a member of Graham Community Church, a 4-H member, 4-H Leader, a Pony Puller and a horse enthusiast. He enjoyed attending grandkids sporting events and spending time with family. He was retired from General Motors where he was a supervisor.

He is survived by his wife Shirley, children, Denice (Monty) Belmer of WI, Kari (Bob) Burns of Owosso, Mark (Cherly) Sickles of Ovid and Tammy (Randy) Richard of Laingsburg, grandchildren, Glen (Samantha) Belmer, Katie Belmer, Kendyll (Dave) Schaeffer, Rob (Lisa) Burns, Emilie and Addison Sickles, Patrick, Dale, Colt and Ross Richard, sister Myrna Kleuckling and sister-in-law, Barbara Sickles.

He was predeceased by brothers John, Eugene, Jeff and Don.
