Helen A. Bisaha, 93, of Conneautville, PA (formerly of Leechburg), died Sunday, March 20, 2005, in Rolling Fields Nursing Home, Conneautville.
She was born August 19, 1911, in Stara Bystrica, Czechoslovakia, the daughter of the late Steve and Mary (Columbus) Martinisko.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Bisaha came to the United States in 1921, and lived in Leechburg until moving to Erie in 2000.
She was a member of the former St. Martha Roman Catholic Church, Leechburg, National Slovak Society, Holy Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of America, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bisaha.
Mrs. Bisaha is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann (Douglas) Brown of Albion, PA; her son, John Paul (Mary Ann) Bisaha of Jefferson City, Missouri; two grandchildren, Anne Bisaha of Madison, Wisconsin and Susan (Chris) Hmielewski of Jefferson City, Missouri; and a great-grandson, Jacob Hmielewski.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 300 Market Street, Leechburg.
