Hugh Bledsoe, 48 years old, died at his home in this city last Friday. His health had not been very good for quite a while, but his serious illness was of short duration.
He was born and reared in the Creelsboro community and spent most of his life there and in this city. He had a likeable personality and had many friends wherever he was known.
He is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. Nellie Bledsoe, of this city and one daughter, Mrs. Gloria Nell Robertson of Adairville, Logan County, Ky., and many more distant relatives.
The funeral was held in the Creelsboro Christian Church last Saturday, conducted by Rev. Thomas May, pastor of the Jamestown Nazarene Church, with burial in the Buster Cemetery, in Creelsboro.
All funeral arrangements were in charge of the H.E. Pruitt Funeral Home of this city.
