Services for Wyman H. Haas, 76, will begin at 3 p.m. Monday at David Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam McPeek officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum with military graveside rites conducted by the VFW Post 1982.

Visitation will be Saturday from 2-9 p.m. and Sunday from 1-9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will reopen Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of services.

A native of Fox, Okla., and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Haas died Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, in Kathryn, N.D.Mr. Haas was an offshore drilling consultant for more than 50 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during World War II and was a member of the Masonic Lodge 193. He was very strong in spirit and a loyal person to all of his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Faye Bull Haas of New Iberia; four sons, Mark Haas, Rocky Haas, and his wife, Denise, Scott Haas, and his wife, Diane, and Wyman G. Haas, all of New Iberia; his daughter, Julie Haas Romero, and her husband, Blaine, of Youngsville; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Haas was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Olsberg Haas; and his father, George Haas.

Pallbearers will be Leif, Mark S., Rocky W., Scott A. and Wyman G. Haas, and Ryan Romero.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Broussard and Blaine Romero.

David Funeral Home North, Trotter Street of New Iberia, is in charge of arrangements.
