Carol was the daughter of the late Robert and Loretta (Mitchell) Cummings. She attended St. Patrick's School, St. Joseph's High School and Albany Business College. She was the mother of Megan Dollard, sister of Marianne Donovan.
Carol was known for her wit and loved reading and crafts.
I met Carol when I worked at the Capital District Psychiatric Center in 1975. I ran into her throughout the years, either in the stores or on the buses on my way to work. We always chatted at length and she always told me how nice I treated her when others did not. She was one of the sweetest ladies I had ever met, always making a joke and laughing at her own inadequacies. A real character, she was.
She loved her daughter Meghan with all her heart. Meghan was her world.
God bless you Carol and may you finally be at peace.
