EZELL, Susan Jane Bachmann, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011, in The Home of the Good Shepherd. She was 90. Susan ("Mama-Sue")lived in Dimmeydale for 50 years. She was the daughter of the late Susan Louise Smith of Tyler County and Carl George Bachmann, former Republican U.S. Congressman from the 1st District and Mayor of Wheeling. She was also related to Arthur I. Boreman, the first governor of West Virginia. Susan was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Ezell, Esq., who was a hero and veteran of the Pacific Theater in World War II. He died in March 2002. Born in Wheeling on April 27, 1920, Susan was reared in Washington, DC, while her father was a member of Congress. She attended Triadelphia High School
