Burr Oak: William L. CADMAN, 87, of 31278 Maystead Road, Burr Oak, and formerly of Sturgis and Bronson, died April 8, 1998, at his home.
He was born July 4, 1910, in Toronto Ontario, Canada, a son of Charles and Beatrice (UTLY) CADMAN.
For the past 32 years he was a Burr Oak resident.
He married Genevieve BLASKIE in Hot Springs, Ark.
A 1934 graduate of Tri-State University in Angola, Ind., he earned a degree in mechanical engineering. He was employed as an engineer and superintendent at the former Bronson Reel Co. in Bronson, retiring in 1969.
He was a member of the TAU SIGMA ETA Fraternity, a past member of the Bronson Rotary and Bronson Masonic Lodge, and he enjoyed golf, fishing, bowling and gardening.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter and son-in-law, Kandy and LaMar AKER of Coldwater; three sons and a daughter-in-law, William Robert and Debbie CADMAN of Fenton, Larry CADMAN of New York, N.Y., and James CADMAN of Goshen, Ind.; six grandchildren and their spouses, Kelli and Doug ARCEO, Kristi AKER, Kerri and Chad George, and Julie, Gregory and Max CADMAN; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Harry, Jack and Charles CADMAN.
Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the Hackman-Foglesong Funeral Home of Sturgis, where services are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Rick Hudgens of the Sturgis Wesleyn Church officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery of Sturgis.
