Born and Died in Albion. Parents James William & Mary Amelia (Pearl) Peabody of Albion's founding Peabody family. His grandfather Tenney Peabody was the first settler of Albion. Orville married Clara Theresa Gale (1861-1941) March 12, 1885. Their son Clarence (1889-1956) is buried in this same family lot. Orville worked as a bookkeeper at the Albion Milling Company. Orville unfortunately was afflicted with tuberculosis, and under went six operations before his death at the age of 31.
