WINDSOR--Erwin John Parlin, 71, died in Augusta General Hospital Friday morning.
He was born Dec. 22, 1902 in Augusta, the son of John and Nettie Noughton Parlin.
He had been a resident of Windsor for 21 years and was a member of the Kennebec Valley and Waterville Beagle Clubs.
He is survived by his step-mother, Mrs. Laura Parlin of Jefferson; two sons, Lewis of Wilton and Harland of Canton; four daughters, Mrs. Katherine Horne of Dixfield, Mrs. Marilyn Labbee of Brunswick, Mrs. Beverly Stevens of Canton and Mrs. Patricia James of Mexico; five brothers, Wilbur of Farmington, Lawrence of Waldoboro, Preston of Jefferson, Maurice of Coopers Mills and Raymond of Lisbon; a sister, Mrs. Glennis Brann of Coopers Mills; four half-brothers, John H. Parlin Jr. of Waldoboro, Willard of Bremen, and Edward and Wendell of Coopers Mills; three half-sisters, Mrs. Leola Wiley of Waldoboro, Mrs. Mildred Perry of Washington, and Mrs. Hector Merrifield of Coopers Mills; an aunt, and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at 15 Flagg St., Augusta.
