Mabel I. Bremmer, 83, of Palmyra, died at 2:24 p.m. Thursday November 27, 1997, at the Hannibal Regional Hospital.
She was born June 3, 1914 in Marion County to John Allen and Esther E. Crane Begley. She married Emmett G. Bremmer, Sr., Nov. 2, 1933 in Palmyra. He preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1991.
Survivors include two daughters, ____ ____ and ____ ____, and two sons, ____ ____ and ____ ____, all of Palmyra. Two brothers Gerald Begley and Charley W. Begley, Hannibal, and one sister, ____ ____, Hannibal.
Also seven grandchildren, ____ ____,La Grange; ____ ____, Palmyra; ____ ____, Monroe City; ____ ____, Palmyra; ____ ____, Terre Haute, Ind.; ____ ____, Taylor; and ____ ____, Palmyra. Seven great-grandchildren, ____ and ____ ____, Monroe City; ____ ____, La Grange; ____ and ____ ____, Palmyra; _____ ____, Hannibal; and ____ ____, Terre Haute, Ind.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John E. Begley.
She was a homemaker, a member of Palmyra Assembly of God Church and was an active volunteer at the Palmyra Nutrition Center.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 1, 1997, at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, with Mr. Carl Begley officiating. Burial was at Little Union Cemetery west of Palmyra.
