Son of Pelham President Felder and Lucretia Ann (Cason) Felder. Husband of Josephine May Ridgley married 7 Mar 1920 at Rocky Ford, Otero, Colorado. He was in the Navy when they married. They lived in various locations during his enlistment. San Pedro, when they lived during the Earthquake of 1933. They also lived in Long Beach California and Honolulu Hawaii. He served in a submarine during both WWI and WWII. He Retired from the US Navy as a Lt. Commander of a Submarine.
When they retired they traveled all across the US in a house trailer and then settled in Silverado, Orange, California where they parked and lived in the trailer. He then built an outdoor bathroom and later built a home on their property.
They later sold their home and moved into a trailer park in Oceanside, San Diego, California near his brother William David Felder.
