A graduate of Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, Mary Alice Babb's article, The Value of Advertising, appeared on pages 228-234 in the NORTHWESTERN MAGAZINE, the Literary Magazine published by the students and alumni, October 1907. By 1909, her name appeared on the 1909 Bulletin of Northwestern University Address List of Alumni: Babb, Alice 255 W. Park Ave., Aurora. She lived with her parents in 1910, Aurora, IL, where her father was a lawyer and by 1920 she had married Donald Knox Ewing. The couple continued to live in Aurora, IL, through 1930. Mr. Ewing's profession was chemist in 1920 and "Sec & Treas." in 1930; the industry of 1930 appears to read aluminum.
