Thomas was married to Dorothy C. Williams.Thomas was the son of Thomas Washington Williams Sr, and Gertrude Goodhead. They had one daugher, Mitzie Williams who now lives in Fort Pierce, Florida. Tom served in World War 2 in the Armored Infantry in an Armored Division. He reached the rank of Staff Sergent, received the Combat Infantryman Badge, 3 Purple Hearts, and One Bronze Star Medal. He was held as a POW by the Germans. He owned and operated the Tansboro Esso Gas Station for over 30 years, and was also the President of the Flying Buck Gun Club for over 30 years. He became ill and could no longer do these things. Much of Tom and Dollys' lives were spent living in Berlin, NJ. Tom and his daughter Mitzie moved to Florida after the death of his wife in 1984 for health reasons.
