Robert L. Cole, 78, died Sunday, April 20, 2003. He was a resident of Fort Myers, Fla., and a former resident of Indianapolis.
Survivors include a nephew, James K. Hiatt of Martinsville; and a foster sister, Marguerite Stewart of Bedford. He was preceded in death by his foster parents, Leonard and Sylvia Martin of Morgantown.
He was a member of McGregor Baptist Church and Araba Shrine in Fort Myers, Fla., and Morgantown Masonic Lodge.
The Rev. John Davis will conduct a service at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Fort Myers, Fla. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
