Faye Rumsey, 74, longtime Kingfisher resident, died Thursday March 2, 2000, at Integris Specialty Hospital in Edmond.
Graveside services were set for 10:30 a.m. at Banner Cemetery, with Rev. Joe Ince officiating. Burial is under the direction of Sanders Funeral Services of Kingfisher.
She was born May 2, 1925, in Crescent to Walter Lee and Ollie Bell Burpo. She was reared on a farm east of Dover.
She attended the Pentecostal Church and operated a beauty shop in California for 13 years.
Survivors include her husband Carl; two sisters, Mae Jones and June Fike, both of Kingfisher, four brothers, Aldon Burpo and Frank Burpo, both of Dover, Albert Burpo of King City, CA and Gene Burpo of Greenfield, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
