In 1910 she, her husband, their two children, and two servants--Elsie Robbinson and Nellie Porter, both age 23--lived in a house they were renting at 21 East Church Street in Newark, OH. Joseph was the owner of a wholesale grocery, Elsie worked as their cook, and Nellie as a nurse.
In 1920 she and Joseph and their two children lived in an apartment they were renting at 25 North First Street in Newark. He worked as a wholesale grocer.
She later lived in New York City for some time. She died of a heart attack, probably at her son's home, and her ashes were shipped back to Newark for burial.
