BRUINSMA, Gerard - (dedicated Hastings dairy farmer, retired at the age of 75) - Peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family, on Sunday, September 4, 2011, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Tina (nee DeVries). Dear father of Casey (Mary), Ben (Sheila), Michael, Rita Vilneff (Bill), Trudy Przybyszewski (Jerry), Doreen Nieuwenhuis (Bernard), Jeannie Peeters (Harry), and Gerry. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Kyle, Shannon, Katie, Craig (Kerry), Michael, Lisa, Chad, Jason (Candice), Shawn, Kylie, Karlie, Jeff, Jeremy, Jamie, Josh, Kurtis, Kyra, Karli, Kelsi, and Jamie. Predeceased by grandchildren Tina and Kavin. Great- grandfather of Molly and Cannon. Friends may call at the HIGHLAND PARK VISITATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road (at River Rd. S.), Peterborough, on Thursday, September 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will take place at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 386 Rogers Street, on Friday, September 9, at 11 a.m. Interment Highland Park Cemetery.
