Effie Marie Miller Reynolds, 78, passed away September 2, 2011 in Payson. She was born June 16, 1933 in Panguitch to Joseph and Effie Melissa Church Miller. She married Jim Ed Reynolds August 29, 1953, in Panguitch, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple in 1960.

Effie had a great love for her family. Her joy in life was her grandchildren and music. She spent many years singing in choirs and attending to her rose garden. She had a special testimony of the gospel and served in many callings in the LDS church. Her greatest love in life was her sweetheart.

Survived by: husband, Jim of Salina; children: Jan (Tom) Hales, Redmond; Jim E. (Wendy) Reynolds, Centerfield, Joe (Teresa) Reynolds, Salina; Jill (Bobby) Porter, Redmond; Joni Reynolds, Provo; 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one on the way

Preceded in death by parents; five sisters and three brothers

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 12:00 Noon in the Salina Stake Center, 98 West 400 North. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the stake center in Salina and again Tuesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
