The many friends of Mrs. Adaline M. Woodward were pained to learn, at an early hour, this morning, of her death, although it was generally known that she had been in a critical condition for some time, her illness extending over many months. . . Mrs. Woodward was the daughter of Mr. Samuel and Mrs. Martha Marsh, two of the pioneer settlers of this city, who came here when the present location was almost a wilderness. She was born in this city on the 12th day of March, 1826, and was, therefore, at the time of her death forty-nine years and five months old. She was united in marriage to Mr. John K.
