Less than a year after being convicted of vehicular manslaughter for killing a 15-year-old boy, Armstrong, of La Mirada, CA. was struck by a car and died later from his injuries. A Sheriff's Deputy said Armstrong was in a coma after he was hit on May 2nd, 2011 on La Mirada Blvd near Rosecrans Blvd. in La Mirada. The 21-year-old man was jogging and wore headphones that morning as he ran straight onto traffic without looking according to witnesses. The driver was not cited. Armstrong, who had been convicted of manslughter in the death of Andre Leon in 2009, received one year in county jail. He served nearly six months and was released Jan. 22, 2011.
