** In Loving Memory of Ray Guzzi **
Ray was very loved, deeply missed and remembered forever in the hearts
of the many who loved him. Ray grew up in N. Mpls. His Dad Arcole Guzzi
was a Barber on Plymouth and Logan Ave North Mpls MN. Ray grew up
near where the love of his Life Betty grew up. Many in Betty's Family knew
Ray's Dad and Mom well. Some went to Ray's Dad's Barber shop for their
haircuts. Ray and his Dad were outgoing, social, friendly, honest, fun to chat with
and they were both great barbers. Ray's Dad was Born in Italy and was a very
proud Italian American Man. Ray's Mom had a great sense of humor per our
Family Members who knew all of them well. Many Cherished Memories.
Ray served our Country in the U.S. Military. Ray Married the Love of his Life
Betty Peters. Betty Peters was a wonderful, outgoing, energetic, kind, smart,
social, loving Woman who everyone also adored. Ray and Betty Guzzi were a
great couple who could light up a room. Both had many loving family and
friends who really enjoyed spending time with both of them. ( And their Children.)
Ray and Betty Guzzi were blessed with their Son Terrance Guzzi and their Daughter George Lee "Ginger" Guzzi Adams. They were Blessed their a very nice Son in Law
Ed Adams too . Their Family was a great, wonderful Family every loved.

Ray Guzzi was a Barber in Brooklyn Center MN, then St. Louis Park MN.
Ray Guzzi and his Dad were excellent Barbers according to Family Members.
Family remember Ray fondly. He was a gentle, loving, kind, hard working man. Family remembers Ray's Parents. They remembered that His Dad
was a very friendly, outspoken Italian Man. They Remember Ray's Mom
Mary as being a wonderful, outspoken lady too, but she emphasized, she was not Italian. They remember Ray, his Parents, Betty and Son very fondly. Ray and Betty's Son Terrance Guzzi Served our Country in the U.S. Military 1972- 1974.
Terrance Guzzi was also a U.S. Military Veteran. It was heartbreaking with Ray and Betty's only Son Terrence proceeded them in death in 1975 due to medical issues.
Ray proceeded Betty in Death. Betty passed away in 2004. On Oct. 4, 2021, Beloved
Daughter Ginger passed away. Gingers Spouse Edward Michael Adams passed away in 2016. All are laid to rest at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Betty's Father
Charlie Peters, Mother Lorraine Kruger, Step Father Earl Krueger and other Family
are laid to rest at Fort Snelling. Many other Relatives and Friends who were in the U.S Military or their Spouses are laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

As of 2022, Ray and Betty Guzzi are survived by Grandchildren, many Relatives and Friends.

on the Ship Volturno and born in Crafta (sp) Cantanzaro.

Their Family moved from Michigan to Minnesota.
Ray's Father was a Barber. Their Family was living in Mpls MN by 1930
and Ray grew up in N. Mpls MN.
Ray resided with his Parents at 1415 Dupont Ave N. Mpls MN
and worked at the Onan Company in SE Mpls MN when he registered
for the United States Military WWII Draft. Spouse Betty Peters Family
also moved to North Mpls MN by 1930 or earlier .

Calibria Italy in 1882 and passed away in Henn. Co. MN. Not known if Joe Guzzi
is any relation to Ray or his Father's Guzzi Family. His Family tree includes
Guzzo spelling and his Parents as Francesco Guzzo and Rosa Mazzel Guzzo.
Joe Guzzi was a year older than Ray's Father.
