William Clement Lounsberry was the fifth and last child of Col. Clement Augustus Lounsberry (1843-1926) and Lucretia Victoria Hoskins (1845-1912).
William Clement was brought up in the publishing business when his father, Col. Clement Augustus Lounsberry started the Bismarck Herald Tribune newspaper in Bismarck, ND. Young William C. worked in his father's business. When the family moved to Duluth, MN he carried on the tradition of publishing by working as a Typesetter for the Duluth Herald newspaper as did his brother George Harlow Lounsberry.
He married Celia Barbara Harper, daughter to Scottish immigrants from the Shetland Islands. They met in Duluth, MN.
William and Celia had one child:
William Harper Lousberry 1909-1986 m. Annebelle Mary Wright (1909-2010)
William had a stroke before he died.
