Mrs. Hazel Roberts Colquitt, age 90, 539 Old Rockmart Road, Silver Creek, passed away Wednesday. Dec. 1, 2004, at her residence.

Mrs. Colquitt was born in Floyd County on July 21, 1914, daughter of the late Luther and Maggie Williams Roberts. She was a home-maker and was a member of Silver Creek United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Colquitt was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Holt Colquitt, in 1997, by four sisters and by five brothers. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lucy Cagle, Silver Creek, a son, Jim Colquitt, Augusta, a sister, Mrs. Katherine Fincher, Rome, three grandchildren, Mrs. Marie Carpenter, Silver Creek, Mrs. Jill MacGregor, Roswell, and Mrs. Gina Allen, Alpharetta, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephew also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday at noon at the graveside in East View Cemetery. Her pastor, the Rev. Michael Holt, will officiate with Mr. Don Lucas delivering the eulogy.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home this evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. At other hours, they may be contacted at the residence.

Henderson & Sons Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements.
