Virginia A. Garner McCutcheon Burns

Funeral services for Virginia A. Burns, age 85, of Fayetteville, conducted at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Don Russell officiating. Burial in Prospect Cemetery beside her late husband Mac McCutcheon. Mrs. Burns passed away Saturday morning in Donalson Care Center.
Mrs. Burns was a native of Franklin County, the daughter of the late Floyd Damon and Pearl Campbell Garner.
She was a cashier at Gerald’s Foodland and a member of the Park City Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Carolyn Cole and husband Jay of Woodbury, TN, son Neal Johnson of Shelbyville, TN, grandchildren Sean Cole, Misty Cole, Terra Benton, Clay Johnson, Lee Johnson, Jon Johnson, sister Edith Besheres and husband Bill of Manchester, TN, brothers Floyd Garner of Madison, AL, Forrest Garner of Athens, TX and 4 great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Cheri Miller and brother Ralph T. Garner.
Visitation with the family at Higgins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
