Brenda of La Puente CA, was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who was employed at Cal-Lift in Industry, CA. since September of 2010. It was there that Brenda and I forged a very special friendship. Brenda was very kind, generous and had a great sense of humor along with the most beautiful eyes and a big, bright, wonderful smile with a giggle that was very contagious. Brenda often told stories of her children, Brianna, Raylene and Julian and how much she enjoyed taking them out to dinner or cooking for them. Brenda always made sure she made more than enough dinner so that she could bring leftovers for us to enjoy the following day at work. She found happiness in the simplest of things - how excited she was when the remodeling and redecorating of her bathroom was finally complete! I received numerous texts and pictures showing the progression of the project. Nearly every Friday Brenda, myself and others would go out for lunch, so on Thursday night Brenda would send me a text "Where are we going for lunch tomorrow?".

On Memorial Day weekend Brenda attended a graduation party for her nephew at her sister's house in Murietta where she and her family spent Saturday night. The following morning Brenda, who suffered from heart disease, was found unresponsive and it was later determined that she had passed away in her sleep. It is ironic that this is what brought this beautiful life to an abrupt end, since she had such a huge, loving heart. Brenda will be missed by her family, her spouse Javier, friends and anyone who was ever fortunate enough to cross paths with her.

Rest in peace my dear friend, you will be forever missed.
