William I. Hergenrather, 62 of 118 1/2 N. Fourth, Tipp City, an employee of the Meteor Car Co., in Piqua for many years, died of a heart attack at 6 a.m. today at his home. He had been in his usual health, although he had suffered a heart condition the past year.
He was currently employed at the Tipp Tube Products Co. in Tipp City. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Theresa Snyder.
Surviving are a son, William I. (Bill) Hergenrather of Columbus and a daughter, Mrs. Emery Hole (Sybil) of Grand Rapids, Mich., assistant director of the school of nursing at Blodgett Hospital there.
Funeral arrangements are pending.

Funeral rites for William Hergenrather, 62, former employee of the Meteor Car Co., here, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Coppock-Lee and Frings Funeral Home, Tipp City. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. The Rev. James Hergenrather will officiate.
Mr. Hergenrather died of a heart attack early Saturday at his home in Tipp City.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of services.
