age 65,
Aaron Davis Bill was the son of Aaron Bill who was a member of the Mount Lebanon Shaker community in New Lebanon, NY up until his death in 1843.
Aaron, Sr. may be buried on the grounds of this community which of course does not exist as a true Shaker community.
Aaron, Sr. moved there after his wife Silence Davis died about 1820.
Aaron, Jr. also moved there and left the community not too long after his father died in 1843. Aaron, Jr. eventually moved in with an aunt, Lucy Dix Bill, widow of Isaac Bill, and took care of her until her death.
Info on lots of Bill families in book _The History of the Bill Family_ by Ledyard Bill, 1867.
Hope we can connect Aaron, Jr. to burial site of his father Aaron Bill, Sr.
Would love to visit graves of my Bills' at West Smyrna Cemetery, NY.
Sidney, wife Virtue, their son Perley C. and Barber's were buried there, also. Linda Alcott Maples.
