Barbara Delores "Bobby" Abbot, 63, of Prairie Grove died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006, at her home. She was born Aug. 29, 1942, in Albany, Okla., the daughter of John and Leona Williamson DeVore. She owned and operated a daycare service before retiring to Prairie Grove. She was a member of Weddington Pentecostal Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Abbott; two sons, John Paul Abbott and John Robert Abbott; and a daughter, Leona Marie Abbott. She is survived by her mother and loving caregiver, Leona DeVore of the home; two brothers, David Dodd and wife, Dena, and Samuel Dodd and wife, Grace, all of Prairie Grove; a granddaughter, Honey Gantt and husband, Sedrick; three greatgrandchildren, Taylor, Shealynn and Sedrick Jr., whom she loved dearly; and many nieces and nephews she loved as her own. A memorial service will bee held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville with the Rev. Edna Tatum officiating.
